As the lender, you will still get repayment plus interest on your investment, but as a shareholder in the property, your contribution will be to continue to carry 50% of the project (repairs, start-up costs, furniture etc), while Pico Duarte will take care of the property management needs and provide the remaining 50% carrying costs. Profits from the deal are divided proportionally. These investments would be listed under a seperate company LLC where both, you, the investor and Pico Duarte will be on the properties' title of ownership.
